Sikkens: the right color

Symptoms

Applied light color doesn't remain stable (often when insufficient daylight - in basements, grooves of a window etc.).

Cause

With an alkyd based topcoat this is intrinsic to the binder.

Solution

Sand and clean. Often solved by altering the chosen color into a greyish direction, which makes the problem less visible. Apply waterbased paints, which are less sensitive to yellowing.
