Symptoms

A white moisture appears on the paint film, which can easily be removed with a dry cloth or wet sponge. The paint layer is - after cleaning - still shiny.

Cause

Precipitation or active composition of ammonium sulfate on the surface of oxidative drying paints, caused by an increased SO2 concentration in the atmosphere.

Solution

Remove moisture with a dry cloth or wet sponge. Clean regularly.
