Sikkens: the right color

Symptoms

Discoloration to grey or black, caused by bad maintenance of the timber. This causes easier weather influences.

Cause

  • Protective coat not present
  • Protective coat poros/not sound

Solution

Paint layers that are not sound shall be removed. Remove weathered timber (parts). Restore original color by using de-weathering solution (bleech) and apply a new protective system.
