Symptoms

Total/local loss of adherence of paint system.

Cause

  • Internal tension in paint films
  • Deformation substrate
  • Humidity or gas formation
  • Wrong paint sytem
  • Several layers are applied which are not suited for each other
  • Insufficient elasticity of applied paint
  • Cracking originating from substrate
  • Insufficient coherent substrate
  • Paint system applied to humid substrate

Solution

Paint layers that are not sound shall be removed. After the right pretreatment, a new system shall be applied. Poros substrates shall be saturated with [Alpha Dispersion Primer or equivalent or equivalent]. Treat twice with [Alphatex IQ] or [Alpha Topcoat or equivalent].
