Sikkens: the right color

Symptoms

Loss of adherence of paint system on mineral substrate or loss of intercoat adhesion.

Cause

  • Insufficient cleaning / degreasing
  • Wrong system
  • Insufficiently sanded
  • Humid substrate
  • Condensated substrate upon application
  • Peeling cement skin on concrete

Solution
Paint layers that are not sound shall be removed. After the right pretreatment, a new system shall be applied. Poros substrates shall be saturated with [Alpha Dispersion Primer or equivalent]. Apply two coats of [Alpha Topcoat or equivalent].
