Symptoms

The coating surface shows a green growth, usually on north facing timbers.

Cause

Plants, bushes and trees in close proximity to coating system. High humidity of substrate - grows where moisture is retained.

Solution

Remove/kill algae/mould and clean substrate. Treat with a fungicidal (or dilute bleach) solution. Where necessary, redecorate with similar coating.
