The Body Shop, a chain for body-care products, will use less environmental polluting paint products for the maintenance of their outlets. Jan Oosterwijk, director and owner of The Body Shop Benelux took this decision after his outlet in Ede was finished with Rubbol BL Satura during a recent renovation. Rubbol BL Satura is an elegant waterborne satin-gloss lacquer. The excellent result created further interest. The next assignment was the finishing of the exterior of the Hilversum shop. Here the choice was made for the low-solvent quality Rubbol AZ HS. The director stated: “ Being an entrepreneur and caring for people and environment can very well be combined. A businessman can make choices. The Body Shop is clearly making these choices. No body-care products for which animal tests have been carried out. No unnecessary waste by placing emphasis on the refilling of original packaging.”
