Sikkens Foundation

The Sikkens Foundation is a foundation set up by Akzo Nobel Coatings, which has the objective of stimulating those social, cultural and scientific developments in society where color plays a specific role as a medium.

The two main activities of the foundation are:

• The biennial award of the Sikkens prize (a crystal prism)
• The biennial organization of the Mondriaan lecture
